The Cisco GLC-LH-SMD is a Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver designed for 1000BASE-LX/LH connectivity over fibre optic networks. It supports both multimode fibre (MMF) and single-mode fibre (SMF), making it suitable for enterprise networks, campus infrastructure, data centres, and longer-distance network connections.
